Crystal Buffet FAQs


1. What kind of buffet do you offer?

We offer All-You-Can-Eat buffet with 275 seats and over 150 food items for your enjoyment – Canadian & American, Authentic Chinese, and Japanese Cuisines.

2. What are the daily hours for lunch & dinner?

We are open everyday (365 days) at 11:30AM. Daily lunch runs from 11:30AM until 3:30PM and dinner runs from 4:00PM until 9:30PM (10:00PM on Fridays and Saturdays).  There is a 30-minute transition time during which buffet menus are being switched from lunch to dinner.

3. What are the differences between lunch & dinner, weekday lunch & weekend lunch, or weekday dinner & weekend dinner?

Although not all the dishes are changed when switching from lunch to dinner, dinner buffet tends to offer more specialty dishes to add more variety. Especially, weekend dinner buffet savours the tenderness of our lobster and crab legs in addition to our everyday buffet selection.

We recognize that our customers may have different preferences in dishes from time to time; therefore, some dishes are changed from time to time to accommodate this request.

We may also come up with special new dishes only during special holidays. E.g., Stuffed turkey with all trimmings during Thanksgiving and New Year Holidays. Please inquire us about the details for upcoming holiday special dishes.

4. Do you offer discounts for kids or seniors?

We charge only $2.50 for Toddlers 4 years old or under any time. Children 5 – 12 years old have their special discounted prices. Seniors 65 years old and more (with valid I.D.) receive 15% off the regular buffet price at all times. Please refer to our Price Poster for details.

5. Do you offer any discounts for frequent customers? For groups? On birthdays?

We are dedicated to providing unique and wonderful dining experience and to delivering value to our customers at unbelievable prices. Movie-goers (Cineplex Next Door) get 10% off the regular buffet prices, or 20% off regular buffet price (for senior aged 65+) when presenting movie ticket same day or following day. Group reservations may qualify for a special drink package. Birthday package (celebration with a photo taken at location) is available for purchase for only $2.50. Please inquire for more details. 6. Are there private rooms available?

Our restaurant offers designated areas or sections for private functions. Booking private rooms is on a first-come-first serve basis. Please inquire us about booking of our private rooms.

7. Is there a need to reserve a table?

Reservations are highly recommended at all times. Group reservations are strongly encouraged in order to secure the private rooms.

8. How do I make reservations at Crystal Buffet?

Reservations can be made by telephone, through our website, or via third party website such as Yelp.

9. Do you offer take-out and delivery?

Can’t stay? We have an extensive Take-Out Menu, freshly prepared and individually cooked to order to go, or simply call and we’ll deliver to your door.

10. Are there enough parking spaces? Is there wheelchair access?

Yes, we offer our guests free parking (anywhere within the entire plaza). We are also wheelchair accessible.


1. Do you use MSG?

We do not add MSG to our foods at all. However, there are some food items, such as mushrooms and tomatoes, which produce natural MSG when cooked.

2. Is there any cross-contamination in your foods?

All foods are prepared and cooked individually, therefore there should not be any cross-contamination. However, due to the fact that some customers might cross-use serving utensils, our staff are trained to replace them on a regular basis. If you have any concerns, please talk to our manager.

3. Are there any vegetarian dishes on your menu?

There are many dishes that do not contain any meat or seafood. If you have any concerns, please talk to our manager.

4. Are there any gluten-free dishes on your menu?

A lot of our foods are gluten-free! We use potato starch as thickener. Please follow “Gluten-Free” labels for your food choices. If you have any concerns, please talk to our Manager.

5. Do you use peanut in your foods?

Almost everything in our entire menu is peanut/nut free. However, we do have some dishes that add cashews and almonds, that can be taken out upon request.  Also, some desserts and ice creams may contain peanut/nut (refer to our in-house Ingredient Guide or consult our staff prior to consumption for safety precautions).


1. How do I make a request for a donation or sponsorship?

Requests for donations or sponsorship can be made to Crystal Buffet Management. Please send a letter to the Manager detailing your cause, and a decision will be made at the earliest possible time. We ask that your letter be sent in at least 2 weeks before the event to ensure there is sufficient time for a decision to be made.

2. Gift Certificates, how can they be purchased?

Gift certificates are available in denominations of $10, $20 and $50. They can be purchased, in person. At the current time, we are unable to sell gift certificates remotely via telephone, website, or e-mail. Special request can be accommodated under which payment is received and gift certificate to be mailed to your designated address.

3. How do I apply for an employment with Crystal Buffet?
